Mechanical Labour Supply:-

One of Pier’s long-standing clients was appointed to lead the M&E installation works for this important and fast tracked hospital project. We were asked to provide all of the mechanical trades for day and night shifts, as well as mechanical supervision.

Pier contacted all of our most experienced plumbers, pipefitters and mates for our client to review prior to engagement. All proposed operatives were requested to work 7 days per week and work 12 hour shifts (day or night). After client approval, at its peak, we had 28 mechanical operatives primed and ready to carry out the installation for this project. 

Building work on the new surge facility was completed 20 weeks after construction first began. Ownership of the modular build was handed over from the primary contractors to the Health Board, and the facility provided an extra 400 beds.
