M&E Labour Supply – A two building complex used by students and staff at the hospital, comprising 66 apartments. The apartments had a range of one, two, four and eight bedrooms, totalling 176 bedrooms overall. The set-up is similar to student accommodation, with shared living spaces and communal gardens that provide residents with areas to relax away from work.

Our client approached us to help with delivery of local mechanical labour for this project. We quickly began to source commercial plumbers, pipefitters and mates to install the mechanical services for this new accommodation building. Pier workers installed a new plant room, unit heating, and domestic hot and cold water copper pipes. 

Pier sourced more than 10 local mechanical workers for the duration of this project, and had regular on-site contact with workers and site management. During site visits, Pier were able to ensure workers were performing to the expected standard, and reward workers for a job well done with a well deserved night out!
